Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Restring. By using our services, website, scheduling service, or interacting with us in any way, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. Services Offered

Restring provides racquet stringing and related services for tennis, badminton, and squash racquets. Services may include:

  • Racquet stringing
  • Grip and overgrip replacement
  • Grommet or bumper guard replacement
  • Racquet balancing or customization

Details about available services, timelines, and pricing are published on our website or booking platform and may change at any time without notice.

2. Bookings

All services require advance booking through our online system. By placing a booking, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your racquet and requested services
  • Be available at the agreed pickup/drop-off time and location (if applicable)
  • Pay the full fee as indicated at the time of booking

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings at our discretion.

3. Pickup & Delivery

Pickup and delivery services are available in designated service areas. Availability, schedules, and applicable fees are listed on our website and may vary without notice.

Customers are responsible for ensuring access for scheduled pickups and deliveries. Missed pickups or deliveries may result in a fee or rescheduling delay.

4. Drop-Off Policy

Customers may also choose to drop off and pick up their racquets at our designated location. Appointments are required; we do not accept unscheduled visits.

5. Payments

We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards and digital transfers. Full payment is due prior to racquet return unless otherwise arranged.

All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Applicable Taxes: We are a BC-based business and charge Goods and Services Tax (GST) on applicable services and products. If required by law, Provincial Sales Tax (PST) may also apply. Tax amounts will be clearly indicated during the booking or checkout process.

Pricing, tax rules, and accepted payment methods may change without notice.

6. Changes & Cancellations

You may cancel or modify your booking as long as it complies with our cancellation policy.

Rush services may not be eligible for cancellation or refund.

7. Turnaround Time

Estimated turnaround times are listed during booking and are based on service type, location, and volume. While we strive to meet all timelines, delays may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Courier or traffic issues
  • Equipment or supply availability
  • High service volume

We are not liable for any consequences resulting from such delays.

8. Customer-Supplied Equipment

Customers may provide their own strings, grips, or accessories. However:

  • We are not responsible for early breakage, defects, or poor performance of customer-supplied materials.
  • All supplied strings must be new and suitable for the requested string job.
  • We reserve the right to decline service using unsuitable or damaged materials.

9. Racquet Condition & Liability

While we handle all racquets with care, we are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage or structural weakness in your racquet
  • Damage resulting from age, prior use, or manufacturer defect
  • Tension-related breakage or frame cracking
  • Performance outcomes after stringing or customization

We recommend regular inspection and replacement of worn grommets and damaged frames before service.

10. Loss or Damage

In the rare event that a racquet is lost, stolen, or damaged while in our possession, our liability is limited to the lesser of:

  • The fair market value of the racquet
  • $200 CAD

We do not cover emotional loss, lost matches, or missed events.

11. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays, losses, or failures caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Accidents
  • Equipment failure
  • Supplier delays
  • Pandemic-related disruptions

12. Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to deliver services and communicate with you. We do not sell or share your personal data.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the most current version.
